It has been a long day and I just want to talk about all that I am thinking about and have thought about throughout today.
1. I love that my child will sit and watch TV. She has always been fascinated and it has been to my advantage. When she was a baby I could put her in the swing with Baby Einstein and have 30 minutes to my self-I almost always took a long, hot shower. Now that she is 3 it helps so much to be able to put in a video and have some time to cook dinner or just not hear her constantly talking at a decibel that is I am sure harmful to my hearing. It isn't that bad but it is difficult at times. Over all I am very thankful for, 12 Dancing Princesses, Dora, Angelina and last but not least Curious George these are such great, creative and imaginative friends.
2. Women and Men are SOOOO different and it really shows at midnight when one of your children starts to throw up and someone has to clean it up. I am 6 weeks pregnant and just hearing her was hurting me so you can just imagine the struggle. I had BIG attitude this morning and I feel a BIG apology coming on tonight when we pray and talk before bed (that apology coming from me now that I have stewed a lot of the day and need to get over it so it won't ruin tomorrow) but it has to be said- women and Men are SOOOO different.
3. Weight, the gaining and the losing, takes a lot of my attention. I wish there was a switch but there isn't and I am left to fight for Peace with who I am. I also have to remind myself that I have delivered two children and stretch marks are my glory. I wouldn't describe my self as an addict but when sick children prohibit me from working out I battle all day until I do some sort of exercise. I have to say though, I give myself a break when it is Christmas time and I know that I could never work out long enough in one day to care of all of the FAT I have eaten in one day. I usually just wait until Jan. 1 and start all over again. I know I am not alone in this- just watch every news channel for the next two weeks. Eat better, exercise more, and don't buy all the sweets you will most definitely crave for the next 11 months(because everyone gives in at the holidays).
4. A new Baby- is it real Is another one of my dreams actually coming to pass. I am very excited but at times it doesn't feel real. This is where my faith kicks in. I rub my belly at night and just pray that God's hands will continue to create my little one perfectly in my womb.
That's all for now my clean sheets are calling me and my husband too!!
