Beach time

Me and my girl. She is getting so big so fast. Her ability to communicate and make other people feel so special is a treasure that will help her get far in life. She took naps everyday while we were gone. They played so hard and I honestly can't think of one time when they were arguing or fighting. Yeah, it truly was a vacation!

Our baby boy always good for a laugh. He would run around and fall down on purpose just to get a reaction from all of us.

Our neighbors were so sweet. The young lady that came with them had a great time with the kids and spent time looking for sand dollars and other shells. They of course thought she hung the moon.

I didn't hear much from E the entire trip. He was too busy building, jumping, swimming. But best of all he was a Fee Muk-a-eer. That in Evanese is a Three Musketeer. K rented the movie for the trip and he had a great time reenacting the fight scenes. Especially with Auntie Kt one night with the couch pillows. It is hysterical! Love the memories you make on a vacation.
Oh by the way...love Sean's toes in this last pic. He has them pointed like this a lot. :)

What it takes...

... to get to the Beach!! and that doesn't even include the applying of lotion ;)

Pool time

We are here and we are having a GREAT time. The weather has been beautiful and my man has taken me on two dates. Having my sisters with us has given Larry and I the chance to really relax and enjoy the week.

A date at the beach

Christine and Katie came with us so that we could go on a few dates while on vacation. The first night out Larry took me to Bonefish Grill. We walked around The Fresh Market then headed to putt-putt.
I got a hole in one while we played a round.

Our second date was in the afternoon. Larry signed us up for a canoe tour in the Broad Creek River. We chose to be in seperate canoes and at the end of the trip we saw a dolphin.

It was a wonderful time just the two of us. These times together give us time to continue our relationship not always centered around the kids. We hold hands, we laugh, we pray and I am learning to just sit and BE. Larry has shown me the beauty of sitting next to one another and just taking in the view, breathing in and out and just resting in the love that we share.

Callaway-April

Katherine was amazing! We brought her training wheel bike and she did 5 miles with us! She is getting so big. It came with some major exhaustion but when we mentioned getting ice cream she ran to the store like nothing happened ;)
My babies. They are getting so big.
She had a butterfly land right on her. She was very pleased!
What a great family day! We had a wonderful time riding, eating, playing and walking through the azalea's. Thanks Aunt Robin and Uncle Steve for telling us the blooms had popped.

Bath time

Norah comes to stay with us every Wednesday but this particular night her Mommy and Daddy came with her for dinner. We decided to do bath time and tkae pics for the fun of it. They are only ten weeks apart.
They each took turns pouring the water on their faces.
She finally got it on her face...but the pic of her eyes is just too scary. She was having a lot more fun then the pic shows.
This photo is definitely my Sean! He has that look in his eye where he is checking to see if what he just did is getting the smiles and laughs he was hoping. Thanks Gina for taking such great pics with your awesome camera. I almost have Larry convinced he needs to get me one!

It's that time...

Bathing suit season is upon us. I leave for the beach in a few days and because I have lost 11lbs!!! It was a Summer treat for me to buy a new bathing suit. It has been a journey. One that has had some tears. But overall tonight I had success and I am so thrilled with what I got and the price I paid.

Lands End is where I first saw the black bathing suit. Wasn't sure it would look right so I moved onto the tankini. I went ahead and purchased online the tankini and another tankini thinking it would get here before vacay. I was WRONG. It is still sitting in Wisconsin somewhere and I leave Saturday. SO...my friend H and I ventured to Sears to see if they just might have my size in the bathing suits I wanted. They have a LandsEnd kiosk there. After an hour of putting on and taking off and trying again then switching bottoms and then walking past the black bathing suit above and saying to myself..."just try it, you never know?!?" I walked out with both of the bathing suits you see here and get this...they were all 50% off! The black one ended up fitting great and it was only $37.20! I am so happy and now completely ready for vacation...except for the packing of course ;)

Happy children making faces
