Mystery Dinner Theater

 Roaring '20's- Gina blew us all away with her flapper dress, headdress and perfect accent! She was in theater in high school...can you tell?!

 The birthday girl!!!! Nichole improvised and turned her whole house, ensemble and peek-a-boo lips into a blast from the past.

Sweet Valentine

Chocolate chip heart pancakes. Hot chocolate with marshmallows.

We made cupcakes for daddy. He brought home flowers, chocolate and cards for all of us. We had Norah Jones playing in the background and after dinner we danced. It was a delightful night in celebrating the love in our family.

Daddy/Son date

On a Thursday in February Katherine went with Daddy to the Chick-fil-a daddy/daughter dinner. I decided to go out with my boys and they thought it would be great to dress up. Of course the choice of attire was superhero. Mcdonald's was the play and eat area that was Evan's choice after describing it to Sean he was convinced it was a pretty cool place and they were in "agreeance" Love these boys!

Children's Museum

The second Tuesday of every month is free at the museum. We met up with our friends, the Pockrus'. The were focusing on fairy tales and Evan got to be king!

Christmas blessings

 Katherine is 7. She learned to ride a two wheeler this year. She loves to listen to book tapes especially a science series called Jonathon park. She is a an artist through and through.

 Evan is 5. He is reading now. He is great at building and spends time creating with legos. If he sees a tree he always tries to climb it.

Sean is 3. He is our resident comedian. After months of asking God to help him go potty all by himself he now can. He loves to dress up. When we leave the house you will most likely see him wearing his cowboy boots.

Our advent tree

 After being inspired by a couple of blogs writing about their advent for Christmas we decided to one as well.

As you see here the pages have already been laminated and cut. This was quite an adventure. I, with all three kids in tow drove up to Kinko's to print off the pages and use their giant laminator and cutter. I will just give some highlights. 1. smudged papers that were grabbed before drying 2. burnt fingers because the laminator was so hot. 3. the spinner of cards available for purchase spinning out of control and cards flying. I was very glad to bring this project back home!

I would love to say we read our advent everyday until Christmas but sadly we did not. We do however have an advent that we made that we can use for years to come.
