My friend
Over the weekend she has found that the cancer has taken over her upper torso. Lungs, throat, back of neck, breasts and they have sent her home. She went to the Radiation therapist today to get all marked for the therapy which will start this week. They have decided to not do Chemo and when I talked to her today she sounded a little defeated about the amount of cancer in her body. She has to have people with her all the time and is still very weak. Her daughter is staying with her sister-in-law and that is about an hour away this is tough on any Mom! Please continue to pray for this family. She asks that we specifically speak LIFE to her body in the name of Jesus!!

Update on my Friend
I went to visit her yesterday at the hospital and she had a biopsy done on both breasts that morning. She will be having a bone scan today and a Spinal tap on Friday. Radiation therapists came in and they decided to do what more test before ruling out radiation therapy.
The presence of God was filling their room. He has also blessed them with a wonderful contact there that Loves the Lord and knows them from a previous church they were apart of. Even the Radiation Dr. was a former student of her Father's. Praise GOD!!
Please continue to lift her up and her husband. Their three year old daughter is staying with her Father in Augusta until the weekend. It was such an encouragement to me to be with them yesterday. Their faith is strong and her eyes communicate to you that her Trust is in God. I will continue to lean on the Lord as I follow Him to love and support them through this TRYING time.
Thank you for your prayers!!

A friend with Cancer
Today I have heard terrible news. A friend of mine has been diagnosed with untreatable caner in her throat, breast and base of her neck. Please pray with me for her as we now go down the road of preparation and Faith. I will need the Holy Spirit desperately as we follow Him in knowing what to do and how to pray. If any of you Bloggin' friends have any advice please let me know what has been comforting to you and your loved one's through hard times like these. She is a woman of Faith that has a wonderful husband and three year old daughter.
Thank you for your prayers!!

So much in my heart
It has been awhile since I have said anything in blog world. After reading Amanda's and Bigmama's posts I can now see why.
Taking the time to process and put it all into words can be extremely emotional and telling of where my trust really lies. I trust myself and I am failing myself miserably. My God has the only Hope and I continually try and show Him that I can do it better or am going to do it so well without Him that I think he will be pleased. I think I will take some time to write and talk to the Lord today to maybe deal with why I have been running in the opposite direction of the Peace I know I will find in His arms.

Single parenting
I have been a single parent for five days now. My heart goes out to all of you that have to do this all the time. Getting up when the little one calls instead of being able to push on your other half to go take care of it. Feeding and preparing every single meal and cleaning up after ALL messes. Constantly having child talk in the car no one sitting there listening to the events of the day or how you honestly feel about a situation. You know, those after the event talks where you say what you really wanted to say. Trying to get dressed and no one but your little 3 yr old to comment on how good your outfit looks or doesn't look. She by the way is in a phase where only Princess dress up clothes look beautiful and I certainly can't go out like that with my 3 month pregnant belly. Which is another area that sucks being single. No one to cry to, complain to, or just say I am not feeling well will you just please do...
Overall I have been blessed by a ton of God's grace. It alone is what i can boast in if anyone thinks I did a great job while my hubby was away. That and my frineds who have been more then graqcious as they have let us sleep at their houses, eat at their tables and given me a break from the kids for a couple of hours.
HE comes home today and I just feel better today knowing that. He will be greeted with hugs and kisses that will overtake him as if he had been overseas for months. Seeing his sweet smile and going to sleep with someone that warms the other half of the bed will be heaven.
