Bath time

Norah comes to stay with us every Wednesday but this particular night her Mommy and Daddy came with her for dinner. We decided to do bath time and tkae pics for the fun of it. They are only ten weeks apart.
They each took turns pouring the water on their faces.
She finally got it on her face...but the pic of her eyes is just too scary. She was having a lot more fun then the pic shows.
This photo is definitely my Sean! He has that look in his eye where he is checking to see if what he just did is getting the smiles and laughs he was hoping. Thanks Gina for taking such great pics with your awesome camera. I almost have Larry convinced he needs to get me one!

It's that time...

Bathing suit season is upon us. I leave for the beach in a few days and because I have lost 11lbs!!! It was a Summer treat for me to buy a new bathing suit. It has been a journey. One that has had some tears. But overall tonight I had success and I am so thrilled with what I got and the price I paid.

Lands End is where I first saw the black bathing suit. Wasn't sure it would look right so I moved onto the tankini. I went ahead and purchased online the tankini and another tankini thinking it would get here before vacay. I was WRONG. It is still sitting in Wisconsin somewhere and I leave Saturday. SO...my friend H and I ventured to Sears to see if they just might have my size in the bathing suits I wanted. They have a LandsEnd kiosk there. After an hour of putting on and taking off and trying again then switching bottoms and then walking past the black bathing suit above and saying to myself..."just try it, you never know?!?" I walked out with both of the bathing suits you see here and get this...they were all 50% off! The black one ended up fitting great and it was only $37.20! I am so happy and now completely ready for vacation...except for the packing of course ;)

Tattoo party

It was hysterical!! Our friend Eric(who has the tats on his forehead) thought it would be fun to choose tats for those who came to the party who didn't have permanent tats.My aunt had given me a whole package of temporary tattoo's. Then came the hysteria! Foreheads, chins, necks and last but not least...FEET. Saji is sportin' his tat on the left side of the couch-LOL. Thank you so much for coming out and celebrating this birthday tattoo event with me. Thanks to Mom and Dad for watching the kids so I could have, not only a night out to recover, but also a night with my man and friends!

Can you tell where we went?

I had a gift in mind that I wanted for my 30th birthday.
So after much deliberation and a husband who helped design

I let the artist do his magic and left 25 minutes later with this...

a TATTOO!!

It is about 3 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches and is on my left shoulder blade/back. It has great significance for me and my walk of faith. My friends and family celebrated with me and I am thrilled.

Happy Graduation!

Aunt Kathy drove in and stayed for five days. We celebrated Christine's graduation and all of the May birthdaysAcadia played so great with all fo the kids. Sean took a liking to her right away. My Sweet Little sister and her friends. We are so proud of you Teen!
A little boy took Evan under his wing and they ran around that park all afternoon. He was in heaven.
