Carlsbad Caverns, NM

Driving 7 miles from the highway to the entrance of the caverns brought us to a building. We went inside looked around payed for tickets then realized we were standing on top of the caverns. We were going to take an elevator 74 stories underground. he doors opened and to our amazement there was an open space the size of four football fields. The hike through the caverns was over a 1mile. We put on our jackets because it stays at 56 degrees and we started walking. It took us over an hour to walk through as we stopped to take pictures every few steps. Katherine has told everyone since we came back to GA that this was her favorite thing of the entire trip.

We have close to 50 more pictures of the caverns but after a while they start to all look the same
